April is Partner, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer of Monitor Clipper Partners, which has raised and managed $2 billion in private equity. She serves on the Board of Trustees for Simmons University and is on the Business Advisory Council for the Simmons University School of Business. She also serves as a board chair or board member for several organizations: Microgame, STS Medical Group, the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity, the Financial Executives Alliance, the ACLU of Massachusetts, the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, the Association for Corporate Growth’s Private Equity Regulatory Taskforce, and the Boston Private Bank Venture and Private Equity Advisory Board. She is a frequent speaker at private equity industry conferences and an angel investor in and advisor to numerous start-ups.
