Inclusive Leadership in Action Certificate Program

Our flagship certificate program is delivered in a dynamic in-person or virtual format, featuring highly interactive live sessions along with work done at your own pace. You’ll benefit from a 360 assessment, executive coaching, action planning and lots of opportunities to network and learn from your cohort. The program includes the following modules:

The Work of the Inclusive Leader as a Self-Paced Online Learning Experience

This two module experience brings together the critical skills of Investing in Your Best Self and Committing to the Work of the Inclusive Leader. Each learning module is entirely self paced, and leads you through the high-impact content and personal reflections that enable deep learning. Through short videos, interactive text, and guided exercises, you’ll engage with the content and create action steps that will enable you to immediately put your learning into practice and lead with more impact.

You’ll receive a downloadable custom journal for each module that includes the main learning from the session, our “Power Recap” of key points, as well as places to record your thoughts. This will serve as an ongoing resource for your learning and taking action.

We anticipate that each module will take between 30 and 60 minutes to complete. You don’t have to do them in a single sitting; and you can return to the content as often as you wish.

Actions of Inclusion Experiential Workshop

This three hour live session, which can be delivered virtually or in person, provides a highly engaging and action oriented introduction to the Work of the Inclusive Leader. The workshop brings the behaviors of inclusion to life through an experiential exercise that includes a customized scene presented by a highly trained group of improv actors. Participants identify dynamics and behaviors that have a negative impact on belonging, and strategize how to create a more inclusive environment. With those learnings in mind, each participant will have the opportunity to identify one or two actions they can take to lead more inclusively.

At Trane Technologies, we are using The Work of the Inclusive Leader to lay a foundation of what it means to lead effectively. We created a bite-sized learning module and provided the Inclusive Leader Playbook as a tool for leaders to use as they practice leading inclusively. We’ve also generated meaningful conversations throughout the organization based on the model and the playbook. These conversations are helping minds to shift and actions to change.
